I close my eyes,
and see times
gone by,
turn again to
present,
to lead me one
more day,
O Lady Moon,
You know my heart,
my will, my power,
now mold them
to needs much higher,
than what I may
desire,
Cradle me, Steadfast
Earth,
within thin sheltered
womb,
where I may await
rebirth,
in peaceful sleep,
never to know the cold tomb,
Free me, Higher
Air,
that I may soar
away,
and bear me up
above the clouds,
where I may see
the future shine,
Hold me, Dearest
Fire,
and draw me now
beyond death's pyre,
where passion
and life unfold,
like the furled
petals,
of a blood-red
Rose,
Fill me, Blessed
Water,
both in body and
soul,
with thine eternal
beauty,
and, in thine
dance alone shall I be whole,
Surround me, O
Magics Olde,
bear me, in life
as in death,
and with your
wisdoms sublime,
mold my blind
soul,
to see the light
of Time,
and scry the pages
of this ancient past, my soul.
