Gather 'round the fire, my friends,
And let us speak of Honor
For it is a quality that seems to be
lacking today.
'Tis a sad world friends,
That millions can be killed with a push
of a button.
And for what cause?
I for one would wager
That there is little or no honor,
In what they, our leaders, call an
honorable cause.
And I am here to tell you,
While sitting 'round this fire,
That I for one, long for days gone by.
When the fight was honorable
and the cause was just.
For in those days, long in the past,
When the swords were taken down
from the walls,
It would be for an honorable cause.
To protect the homes and lives of fellow
clan members.
So, gather 'round the fire, friends.
We will drink, laugh and make merry.
And yes, dear friends, let us also speak
Of days long ago and Honor.
For while today our swords hang on the wall,
The day may yet come again
When we shall have to take them down
To fight for home, hearth and family.
And this, my Brothers and Sisters,
Will be an honorable cause.
